Christmas & New Years

B got a whole 4 weeks off for holidays. We celebrated Christmas in Welling with my family which included all of the Woolf's (even the Workmans came which was awesome). It was filled with lots of food, outside snow fun and lots of kids, 19 to be exact! It was so fun to celebrate Nelson's first christmas all together! I think he enjoyed it a lot! plus he got to be Baby Jesus in the annual family nativity. It was his big debut!

All the kids loved how Nelson, the smallest, got the biggest present!

1st 3D movie...Frozen!!!

Loving his new toy! Thanks Santa

Christmas Eve Nelson turned 5 months!!! He is such a curious little guy, who is trying like crazy to get everywhere he wants. He loved roaming Grandma's floors along with cousin Dixie who showed off her mad rolling skills. He is still waking up maybe 3-4 times a night, but I blame that on holidays with no real routine and all of us sleeping in the same room the whole time. He started a little bit of rice cereal every night and so far...doesn't like it! but I still try in hopes that it will help give me one blissful night of uninterrupted...maybe 8 hrs? thats reasonable right??? Hahaha! Nelson has become quite a momma's boy but B would never admit to this. He has also perfected the high-pitched girly squeal! and may have gotten mistaken a few times by family as a little girl when he woke up from naps.

We celebrated New Years in Edmonton at the Lakehouse with all the Paynes. It was such a blast to be all together. We couldn't believe how much snow there was in Edmonton too. Not to mention how cold it was. Nelson was a trooper tho! We rang in 2014 with lots of games, lots of food, did lots of snowmobiling and shopping over the break! On our way back home we stopped in Fernie for 3 days for a ski trip for B with his dad and brother Josh. Jen and Anna also joined so it was a fun couple of days together! The boys had a blast skiing and were only a little bit sore after haha. We got to Moscow 4 days before school started for B and enjoyed the last few days of our vacation together  in our home and outside (since its like spring weather here right now!) before he hit the grind again today :(
