B broke his right pink about 2 months ago playing bball. We didn't know it was broken and just thought it was a bad sprain. But the finger kept getting fatter and more crooked so we decided to check it out. It was definately broken! So the doctor told us the only way to fix it and get full movement back was by doing surgery because we had waited for a month to check it out. We headed to Lewiston (only 30mins away thank goodness!) to see a hand specialist and he did his magic. B had surgery last thursday and was left with a huge bandaged hand. Its been quite a change, as he can't even do simple things like put a shirt on or open a water bottle. Plus is pain meds make his so loopy and tired that school has definately been more of a challenge. Thank goodness he is left handed tho! So I pretty much have a 200lbs baby that I've been caring for which is great practice! Haha. I've had to drive him everywhere cuz he gets too sleepy and had to wake up early to help him prep for his shower, plastic bag + duct tape, and get dressed. Its been a good learning experience for us both. But mostly we are So grateful for the 2 hands that our Heavenly Father gave us. Only 5 more weeks until B gets his back.
If you get whoozy better not look at the next one!

Oh no! So what the devil is in the first picture. It looks like he has cranberries on his finger. Is that some kind of contraption to keep the hardware in place? Well hope you two both recover quickly. With love, from the north
